Fighting On Street?

The other day I drove a group of 4 kids home from school, but they got in a small confrontation with some guys and a little pushing and shoving went on and some verbal stuff, but no injuries to anyone. The guy in the other vehicle told me to get them out of the area so i brought them to their friends house and on the way there, two cops pull us over and charged the one kid and the other guy battery charges, but told me i had no charges because i stayed in the vehicle, and he just asked me who shoved first and took down my name, address, and phone number. The kid is getting a court date for his charge, but the cop didn't say anything to me. You think i will get brought into this case or did the cop get everything he needed from me, because i didn't see most of the fight. I don't want to court with the kids because they are the type if you say something they don't like, they will come after you. Only reason i took them home, was for gas money for the week, i don't know these kids at all.

if you wasnt chargered then you are free and clear,stay away from them or your gonna get a unwanted felony pretty soon,they sound like thugs and its easy to get caught up in it .....good luck,....................
Reply:ok for one stand up be a man and dont let your emotions get the best of you second, if you havent been contacted by the police chances are your storie isnt what they liked third, once again make sure you have some nuts and let these pricks know that your not afraid of them, no one should have to be scared about up holding the law, so dont be a bother and show up to the date put your two sense in and maybe these little jerks will get whats coming to them. after all its not the size of the dog in the fight its the size of the fight in the dog.

Reply:ill has some of the best laws like above, verbal confrontation, could have been a gang thing and someone does not want to join-forcing the issue to join is a misdemeanor charge unless the violence get to another stage of escalation then it can become a felony. always know who you give a ride to, lucky nothing went down heavy because you would be the get away man
