Do an above average amount of teenage street fights occur in bakersfield california?
My guess is that it would be lower than average. Bakersfield is a rather conservative community. It is in part of the central valley's bible belt. Neither the Bakersfield Police Department, nor the Kern County Sheriff's Department would have any tolerance for street fights, teenage or other wise. The courts are very hard on criminals, and criminal activity. As for what is it like living there, it is a moderate sized town which depends on oil and agriculture for its existence. You could easily come to believe that you were living in small town in Texas.
Reply:It depends what part of town you live in. We have some not so nice parts of town where there are gangs and I'm sure fights. Whether or not there are more or less than anywhere else, I can't tell you. As for growing up here, I suppose it's like any other medium sized city. We went to the mall and the movies. Football games on Friday night.
Reply:I just moved here and ummm I have not seen this at all. I was living in LA all my life and there is more drama there than anything. Bakersfield is much more mellow
