Reply:Yes I would. Bagua Zhang, If applied correctly, is one of the most devastating Martial Arts known to man. Much Like Tai Chi and Hsing Yi, This art uses the practitioners total body mass. This means that if the practitioner weighs 100lbs then that weight plus the power that can be generated by the muscles are added together for each technique. The only problem is that it takes a while to be able to get these techniques to the point that they can be effective. Practice practice practice. Many people want instant results and won't take the time to learn these valuable skills. If you do get it down though, you will know where that training went.

Good Luck
Reply:hell no i would not
Reply:If you know how to apply the techniques then sure... If you don't then I'd try applying some distance instead... A lost of distance... Like the kind generated by running lol
Reply:yes
Reply:bagua can be used in a street fight but you better know a lot of it.
Reply:No, I would not recommend ba gua in a street fight.

To tell the truth, I would trust my life with any Chinese martial art, except Sanshou, but would be even less leary about using an 'internal' style.
