Is mortak kombat similar to street fighter or soul caliber in the fighting sense?

I'm looking for a game that's like soul caliber available on game boy advance. mostly just fightign the computer one on one or something similar. if kombat isn't and you know something that is that would be very helpful, thank you!

Is mortak kombat similar to street fighter or soul caliber in the fighting sense?
yes its comparable to SB, SC in the sense of button combinations however more so like Tekken Hp Lp Hk Lk.

However the timing is like Soul Calibur.

Try Mortal Combat Deception pretty good game but not as good as Virtua fighter 4 evolution or SC 3
Reply:PRETTY MUCH
Reply:It is, but its much, much bloodier
Reply:it is but with a little more gore
Reply:All fighting games are basically the same. It's all punching and kicking and killing. However, instead of seeing a guy die, you'd rather see them mutilated in ways you can't possibly imagine, then get Mortal Kombat.
Reply:I'd have to agree, it is similar to Street Fighter. But neither are like Soul Calibur, nor is there a game on the game boy that compares to it. Sorry, but atm you'll just have to park it if you want to duke it out Nightmare style.
Reply:there all fighting games that are all cool but i would say get on line and find out for your self.
Reply:Mortal Kombat is more like Soul Calibur because both in games you have to press a block buton to actually block an attack, whereas in Street Fighter all you have to do is back away from the attack to block it.

In Mortal Kombat there are four attack buttons: HP, LP, HK, LK and B. Soul Calibur has a similar system: WS, SS, K, B. Street Fighter has six attack buttons: LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK.
