U.S. Marines = The greatest warriors/Killers EVER!....

ROK Marines = Use OUR !name becuz we are the "greatest warriors/killers EVER!"

"Streetfight"...or any fight.....U.S.Marines%26gt; rest of world...

PS:"Emo Kid"..taekwondo is stupid in a "streetfight"....throw a kick and we'll check it and put U on the ground!.....then it's K-Bar or choke!......yep....any "math teacher" in the world knows U.S Marines are the real reason people are "EMO"......

Reply:The primary thing in a fight is whether both sides are ready and willing to make it a fight. As a sandan in Aikido, I know first hand that you'd better be ready to fight, halfway commitment will only get your *** kicked. So having said that, TKD might be good on someone that isn't commited to a fight, but try one of those fancy kicks on anyone ready to fight and all it will get you is a mouth full of dirt. You'll have your face in the ground so fast you won't have time to think about why you wasted all the time and money on thoses classes... I don't have a personal stake with the Jarheads other than they are mean mothers. Go up against them on the street or otherwise and you'd better be ready to take it all the way. That is where most martial arts fail on the street. They teach you limits. No strikes to the face, no cuffing ,no this, no that. they have to for competition. So you end up learning all those limits which makes it worlthless on the street. On the street you can't say I'm gonna do this or that. You just have to react. While you are deciding to do roundhouse #2 with a double twist and an half piroque thrown in, Mr. Jarhead has just twisted off your head and turned your neck into his personal latrine.

PS TKD began as nothing more than a physical fitness routine used in a battalion and witnessed by some gold hat who turned it into mandatory physical conditioning. As for the Black Belt status of all ROK Marines. What is there term of enlistment? If it ain't 3 or more years, I hardly think they reach the Shodan status. Maybe they just paid their monthly dues up in advance and got the belt, no?
