If you lose your boxing/mma fight license can you still get in trouble for fighting on the street?

what i mean is if your license is revoked or expires can you still get in the same amount of trouble as a active professional fighter because pro fighter can be charged with a deadly weapon just by using there hands a non fighter may only get charged with battery. but what if u don't have a license anymore? i was thinking of being a fighter but I want to be able to defend myself on the streets as well
