Kids fighting on the Street, what would you do?

On the way home from work, I saw 2 boys fighting, and when I heard breaking glass I went to talk to them and separate them. It was not an easy task. Now I wonder, what would have been the best way to handle this? Would you have broken up the fight?

how old were they? You probably couldve gotten hurt yourself. Knowing todays society, they wouldve found someway to blame you for something, then sued you.





Best thing would probably be to call the cops...again, dependent on their ages.

Reply:Under the circumstances, I definitely would have intervened and actually have intervened in a number of altercations where its grown man vs. grown man and...more urgently...grown man "vs." grown woman. The three important questions that you need to ask yourself before inserting yourself into a situation like this are 1) can I make a difference 2) what are the odds of my becoming a victim and 3) am I willing to put my life on the line to save one or both of these individuals? That being said, it goes without saying that even if you are not able to intervene directly you should call the police immediately and/or try to find some guys who can effectively separate the two brawlers.
