Why don't boxers use their legs for kicking like in real street fighting?

Because it's hard not to kick below the belt.

Why don't boxers use their legs for kicking like in real street fighting?
It's not street fighting. Boxing is the art of hitting without being hit.
Reply:hint, watch kickboxing, and or UFC. that sport uses legs and hands.
Reply:For the same reason football players don't use tennis rackets.
Reply:Boxing is a sport, not two jerks roughing each other up like UFC
Reply:Um, well....because it is aginst the rules. That is why its called boxing not street fighting,UFC, marraige, or pro wrestling.
Reply:ehhh bocause they are trained to defend attacks and hit with their hands. after all that training and learning how to punch someone correctly a boxer doesnt really need to kick because he is trained to fight with fist very well. unless he was fighting of the ground or tryin to weakin someones knees they dont need to kick.
Reply:Well... because boxing is governed by specific rules. Kick boxing allows the use of legs %26amp; elbows. Boxing does not.

Boxing is NOT street fighting, and was never intended to be..
